Cool game! The mechanics of throwing the gun to recover ammo is neat. I think it should work on any enemy though. The first time I played I killed all the green guys first, then ran out of ammo and couldn't do anything to do the purple guys. I like the use of brief pauses to make kills more impactful, and also to give you some chance to prepare to dodge the bullet scatter. The music and sound effects are pretty good. The graphics are a bit basic, but work well enough.

I'm not sure if I doing something wrong, but whenever I kill all the enemies the game just freezes.

…have you tried touching the green portal?

What a bullet hell!

The game is very engaging, fast-paced, reasonably colorful, with appropriate upbeat music.

I cannot play real-time reaction-based games for too long, but it was fun to try!

I like the different use of gun throwing (gaining ammo from the green enemy, diverting the red enemy from its course).

Wanna know a fun fact? Originally, the enemies would spawn more than what is left in game and there was to be a boss, but I didn’t continue and didn’t add the boss… Thanks for playing tho!

Challenging top-down shooter with an interesting reload mechanic.

PROS:

  • The game is actually quite challenging and engaging even with just the two enemy types and 1 hazard.
  • All the characters are very readable on the screen, making the faster pace of the game very manageable.
  • The audio is nicely present, but not overbearing.

CRITIQUE:

  • I definitely wanted more sense of progression in a given run to feel more like a Rogue-like or meta-progression to feel more Rogue-lite.
  • It's not immediately clear that I can and SHOULD use the gun-yeet for the sake of gaining more ammo.
  • Hit feedback and potentially some health information on the enemies would go a long way for helping me with target priority on my enemies.

Thanks 4 playing! I’m sure I’ll come back to this game someday so who knows? Might take your feedback and slap some better stuff into it!
