Very interesting concept. I like the variety of upgrades you can choose from, and how they can stack across time periods. I couldn't get very far though. I mainly kept reaching level 2, then getting overwhelmed by those tanky knight enemies. Perhaps I'm supposed to intentionally delay completing level 1 to grind? Anyway, the sprites and animations are pretty nice. The UI text seems very small though.

Developer

Thanks for playing. Maybe a little grind on level one. Try leveling up with your past character because the other characters will get that level up. Leveling up hp and getting time stop are good.

Great concept, graphics, enemies, execution and sound design. Go back in time and make a million dollars selling it for the Commodore 64; definitely a pleasantly retro experience. I wasn't able to pick up an axe (I played as a Viking), which was weird (I already had a sword, that I could not drop). A little more polish and this game would be perfect. What a wonderful example of what can be done in seven days.

Thanks for play. Sorry for the bugs.

When you were trying to drop the item, was your character on a tile with another item. There can only be one item per tile?

Good question. I may have been on the tile with the axe when I tried to drop the sword.

Developer

ok. I think I already have code that would find an empty tile, but I decided not to use it.
