Good start on a project!
I think the atmosphere, introduction, and closing were all good to set the tone. The darkness + flashlight were fun and made the game feel a bit tense and with a bit more TLC could make this a spooky space romp!

Things I ran into >1)  the only viable strategy for fighting enemies seemed to be get a hit, dash backwards, rinse and repeat as otherwise I'd get stun-locked. 2) The game could really use breaks in the metal footsteps as they were driving me a little crazy by the end (but considering it's a space themed survival game maybe that was the point ;)) 3) I think a bit more diffusion of light could make the game fun (a little more glow so you can see the enemies catching you if they're slightly faster) OR adding objects you could run into / get hung up on

Regardless great start to a project and hope you had a blast making it!
IMO some ambient music, breaks in the footsteps, and a tiny bit of TLC in the combat would take make this game an immersive fun little experience!

You can get two hits in, but besides that yeah, few other viable strategy. You can also just run since most enemies are slower than you. And when fighting the three-horned bulls you also need to dodge sideways to avoid their charge. Or hit them fast enough.

Sadly didn't manage to add abilities and blocking in time.

Regarding adding objects, when I first had the idea I planned to also have ranged weapons, and some crates randomly spawn in hallways that you could drop to slow down enemies, and get a few shots in before engaging in melee. But that also sadly didn't make a cut.
