Love the title screen not gonna lie. But for the how-to option, I think it would be nice if the player can control the scroll. Well after reading the first dialog, I'm stucked and cannot move...I've tried to restart the game but it still the same, it was a huge bug and player can't even enter the cave I do want to play this game but please fix this bug first, thanks
I must've forgotten to mention it in the controls, but if you hold the down arrow during the how-to, the scrolling speeds up. I plan on trying to redo all of my old game jam games over the next year or so and I will definitely keep that bug in mind. What OS were you playing on? It worked fine for me on my Linux machine but I didn't get a chance to check every aspect on all options.
Well, apparently the bug appear in my run because I spam the Z button on the dialog, after I stop doing that the game just run smoothly:D
Great game! I feel like it blend perfectly with the old type of game.
I'm glad to hear it was just the spamming the button issue. I've run into this in previous games. This game used the Dialogic system (by Emilio) in hopes of avoiding that issue. Apparently it's something I'll have to program around. Haha.
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!
Awesome game, i remember a lot the times i played zelda on the gameboy, btw, the only game i tried programed on godot, kudos for that.
Thanks, I appreciate it! I keep wanting to try to recreate Zelda-esque games on Godot and some demakes or upgrades. I want to remake Zelda NES for GBC but I know it's been done before.
Doesn't matter if more people try to do the same, if you keep doing games with the quality of this one, all the gamers win having a good and pulished remake
