Hey I just wanna have some clarification on rules!
Do we need to create or game within this time or can we post games we've already made?
Are premade assets allowed?
you say nothing past PG13 but what if we have content warnings and labels?
teaming up allowed?

Sorry to bother you. either way I'm gonna post something. But I'd love to post a pre-made game that fully fits this theme.

For this one we'd like the majority of the work to be done during the timeframe. Like coming up with the idea and mocking it up is in the spirit of what we're looking for.

Premade assets are allowed.

Use your judgement with regards to the content. Generally we'd rather not have submissions that are hyper violent/sexual/whatever but a little bit of darker stuff is fine. If you have specific examples I'd be happy to answer if it'd be ok. Also yeah if there is stuff that should be noted, use content warnings and labels.

If you have a game that fits the theme we'd love to see it anyways, even if not a submission for the jam. We're working on getting together a stream of various small and alt games and if you'd like to be included in our first one of those (date tbd) that'd be cool.

Hi, about individual judgement w/re content. I sometimes have trouble judging what other people will find messed up or too dark, I'm pretty confident there's nothing age-gate-worthy in this thing I'm working on and most of the darkest stuff is left to inference, but I want to check what happens if a submission is deemed unsuitable, is there a communication process or is it just yeet?

Heya. If you want to run it by us feel free to post about it here or in the discord. We mostly care about explicit depictions of gore/sex/whatever just to keep our community  suitable for everyone who wants to participate (I know that where those lines are can be kind of dodgy too). If we *do* find it to be leaning too much into "rated R" territory or whatever, we probably just won't post about it on twitter/stream it or whatever. The entry will stay up so long as it was posted in good faith (e.g. not trying to deliberately go against our rules & freak people out or whatever). But as I said before, feel free to reach out to me here, discord, or strangepact@gmail.com if you want to discuss further.

Also as I said earlier, warnings and etc. about content or whatever are always useful
