What do you like about your game?
Personally it's a massive achievements. It's the first (at least I hope so) playable game made with my engine. But it goes further than that. Light Bearers has super unique visuals due to the cool stuff my engine can do, the gameplay is fast and dynamic, and look at those chunky, perfect, pixels <3

Sadly I couldn’t get past level 2 due to the bug. It looks like this has a lot of potential though and I look forward to seeing a fixed version.

pretty fun, nice fx!

my game starting behaving weird around the part where you pick up the pink thing that allows you to kill the red thing. first time it just crashed when i went into him,  and then afterwards it just seems that it was inconsistent in all kinds of behaviours of when it respawns me back?

overall cool tho, sad i couldn't get through :(

Thank you! Yeah the game jam version sadly has some issues :(
I didn't had time to fix them because of a bug in the runtime of my engine last minute :')
Thanks for playing tho <3

Unluckily, my last minute issue with the build system of my engine exploding lead to a serious unability to test my build. And apparently... I really should have! There's two major issues, biggest one being that level 2 is practically impassable. It seems like either the floor, or some invisible creature, is trying to kill you. It's not impossible to pass (and if you have the time and the patience, please do, I spent so much time on the later section of the game, love you), but it is pretty hard and frustrating
