Space key sometimes works for jump, but not always? Made it feel buggy. Faster reset for the cog puzzle, it felt like mostly a guessing puzzle, so a quick reset would be nice. The cutscene scripting seems solid, and the timing/motion feels right. Some dialogues are too long. I'd prefer a normal third person camera movement with RMB, or at least change MMB to something less painful/more natural to use to realign the view.

But pretty good overall! I was a little disappointed there wasn't more content because I remember seeing other environments being posted. But its got movement, cutscenes, dialogue, puzzles.. you could definitely make this into a thing. Also the character design of the aliens looks nice. Got a copyright claim on the music

Yeah I had wanted to disable the space key for jumping in general and just use the mouse but I guess I forgot to disable it completely.  I'm currently working on a new camera system since that seems to be the biggest issue people have.  But thanks for the comment!  Weird about the copyright claim though, the music I used was from looperman and all their loops are royalty free and can be used commercially.  Have to look more into that.

From the thread, I was going to comment but learned I was playing the old version!

Now the alien saying I came through the portal makes a hell of a lot more sense... heh.

Anyway, as I said, love the cam transitions, models, and screen transitions. Do not like mmb to center cam as opposed to a click-to-drag cam. Might be preference, but I do believe it just gives much smoother control.

For some reason I was unable to jump while up here (with spacebar) and then it worked with rmb, then after jumping once with rmb, I could jump with spacebar again. I know nothing about unity, and wouldn't know what the problem is.

No screenshot for this but after walking out of the mill, as I talked to the alien again, the cam just zoomed into his crotch while he was talking.

beautiful.

I like the visuals a lot, and the movement is good other than that weird spacebar glitch (it happened outside as well). Only dislike the camera control, but that's about it!

Very nice, though, keep it up, man. Cute game

EDIT: didn't know until I saw Khrysdev's comment: you can fly the plane? Or was that the old version? I flew on it and it just fade-transitioned and said thanks for playing.

Also, windows calls the game Leapy Knight instead of Elemental Knight (in the window and in my volume mixer).

Your brother is right, camera is awful (but making it controllable with a MMB only is even worse),  just about  everything you needed to interact with can be just done via an Interact button, and the only time you needed a cursor was the puzzle.

Flight controls were really weird, i expected to control the nose with WS and mouse to rotate the camera, instead it's like a flying Warthog.

Decent start, you don't need to play out the animation and the dialogue every time you fail the puzzle.

Thanks for the comments man.  About the mouse, a main feature of it is to shoot projectiles for attacks/abilities, it interacting with the environment in other ways is more of a secondary use.  I agree that if it was just used for that, it would be pointless.  But I didn't have enough time to add in attacks unfortunately.  having the cam be controllable with the MMB may be the only solution unless I can come up with a radically different control scheme

Ah, okay. You might make a switch between the free camera and the "cursor" mode.
