Super fun game, played for quite a while but didn't get to the big boss (I know he exists because of AWK's vid). I did kill Lefty though.
I absolutely love how you did the walls systems, and I very much like the combat. Rewarding players with checkpoints via kill count is also super neat.
-.zip the folder of your game, not the files themselves -it's difficult to see the items you pick up from chests, the message shows up very briefly -the boss sure does a lot of damage with the homing projectiles -the second boss is very fun, good job coming up with and implementing the spin blocks -the second level is also the point where I am starting to feel a need for a minimap, wondered around after the zombie swarm only to realize the dead end into the blackness is the exit -the optimal way to move is sprint 2s walk 2s, allow running when nothing around? -the exit lead me to the first level, probably means it's over
It's amazing, the different weapons feel different and have different uses, other than the missing art and sound polish, the mechanics got me sold already.
Thanks for the advice! I should point out the Wizard you fight is not a boss; there must've been some glitch because you missed the actual second boss fight!
I think a map is a good idea. I'm not sure about a minimap but perhaps maybe a map that you can open up with tab whenever that shows you where you have and haven't explored, because I notice a lot of people miss small routes they didn't notice on their first time through. Environmental detail may also solve this.
I'll upload a new version that fixes this and just for conveniences sake I'll also upload a version that skips you straight to the boss fight. Cheers!
