Thanks for playing frien. The idea is to have a central elevator / arena where you fight boss / ascension battles, and winning grants you access to the next floor. You can explore the floors to get upgrades and see things. Basically an fps metroidvania kind of thing.
I also love the look and I can see this being really fun with a little more stuff fleshed out. I die because I get disoriented (since the map is just blank) and run into enemies while running backwards, what do you think about a minimap or a radar of some kind?
Yos, I think that with sound disorientation would be mostly fixed, but I plan on having a tatto of sorts on the hand that glows in the direction of the closest enemies or something.

look pretty good but i dont like the movement at all, feels too floaty and makes changing directions not viable at all
Graphics look pretty good, I like the dithering.
What are you planning to do with this in the future, is it supposed to be your take on devil daggers or will it go in another direction?

Really cool vibees and atmosphere, with level design, variety of weapons/hand powers and monsters and a background story it'd be great to see more

oh that tattoo idea is soul
The graphics is spot on, my favorite effect is when you go toward the purple shadow and it reveal is angry face, looking forward for the next demo.
