Interesting. Didn't finish it tho due to a bug.

If you back up to wall while holding a cube, the cube will appear above your head(?) or inside of you, not sure which, but if you release the cube in this state at a door it can go through the door. Also the sfx got really annoying, especially the seqCube(I think thats what it was called), sounded like an alarm clock.

Other than that good job!

Beat the game.

Taking a cube and morphing it into a target pattern is fun! It reminds me of a game I played when I was a kid in Thinkin' Things collection 3, where you had a bunch of aliens that had to change a picture in a specific pattern to match the same picture but already distorted.

The initial puzzles were nice since you could see all the patterns at once and think about how to fit them together, the ones that had a pattern that changed a lot were hard to follow (both the sequencer and the randomizer). The sequencer is specially hard to handle, you have to remember all the patterns and you can change them whenever you want. I can imagine people having a difficulties with them. I ended up just adding patterns together and hoping I was not using an incorrect one.

I know this is more a proof of concept more than anything, but handling the cube felt cumbersome. When going from puzzle to puzzle, putting the cube in the goal slot, taking it out and droping it on the middle of the next chamber's floor so I could see what was new got a bit tedious. New cubes could be present for each room.

And this is something dumb, but after reaching the top and finding out I could walk on top of the walls, I tried to find a hidden puzzle outside the rooms. Found a floating rune at least!

Thanks for playing and leaving feedback!

>handling the cube felt cumbersome
Yeah, there was originally an inventory system but that was even more janky than what I have now. I'll try to improve this or find an alternate solution.
>New cubes could be present for each room.
This was originally the plan but i then I had an idea(that will be implemented later, maybe for next DD) that benefits from cube persistence. Also, it ensured that I wouldn't get too crazy with multi-rune puzzles, god knows those would have been tedious and hard to design in a fair manner

Haha, nice! I was hoping someone would try that. I was going to block it off but i put a small secret on the other side of the staircase wall, I guess you missed it. (it's just a button that links to a youtube shitpost)

Replayed the game and found it! I should have looked around a bit harder.
