Played multiple times, got to wave 30+ in my best run.

This is a fun game! I like the idea of slowly building up your turrets with more and more powerful modifiers. The modifiers are very fun, some of them can radically change how the turret works. This is the kind of game I would spend hours mindlessly playing. I like a lot how you can have "builds" depending on the weapon and modifier used.

I believe modifier selection is something that should be looked into. Some modifiers feel like they do little while other feel mandatory. I don't really know their impact, but you always want economy modifiers early on and having the "on kill get money" modifier leads you to only have one turrent and make it kill all enemies while circle strafing around the enemies to make time. Weapons on the other hand are weird, you only want one per turret so they kinda clog the shop when you are looking for modifiers.

This game has a lot of promise, I hope you can keep working on it.

its pretty good so far, only issue i had was my slots disappearing when giving my items to turrets, i still could change my weapons though

also after a while the enemies just bunch up together into a big ball and you can just kite them pretty effortlessly

theres an issue with the left side ui on fullscreen that makes it so you have to click more to the left for it to work

good choice on music i love me some manabu namiki tracks

Got to wave 23 on seconds try. By the end I was mainly fixing turrets, cause it felt too risky to go outside, also turrets had way better gear, cause my character mainly had upgrades that gave extra money at the end of the round.

It's hard to get a good build, cause a lot of upgrades are completely pointless without other ones, but they're not sold together, so while you wait for them to become available, you just get basic boring upgrades, such as extra damage and knockback.

Enemy hp pool growing from wave to wave feels unfair, cause in my opinion, a weapon that was good against them before, should stay good, if you want to force player to upgrade, IMHO you should introduce new enemies, that are visually distinct from old ones, even if they operate using the same logic as old ones.

Found several issues:

  • When you try to drag an upgrade from one turret to another, its slot disappears.
  • After some wave one turret's slots were completely gone. They were there before the wave, but were gone after. It still worked, but I couldn't upgrade it at all.
  • Turrets block your shots, but don't block enemy shots, it's very unfair.

Other than that... it's ok.
