nice, very fun base for a game I like that just standing next to the turret repairs instead of having to stop. The nuclear thrown sprites make me wonder how much screen shake your going to add.

Reached wave 9, it's really fun. maybe add more to the backgrounds.

Thanks! The graphics are 99% placeholders ripped from other games, I plan to do a whole other kind of low-poly 3d toon shading visual style

Pretty fun.

I think the difficulty curve needs work, it starts off very easy and suddenly gets more difficult.

An objective like some generators to protect or something would also be nice.

i don't know if vs clones are for me but here's my thoughts anyways

no need to think or try very hard for the first 10 or so waves

if it's a tower defense game what are you defending, just yourself?

i was hoping this would have an extra objective to break from the tedium of typical vs clones

Pretty fun even in this early state. Difficulty should probably increase faster since I played for about 30 minutes without ever coming close to dying. More types of support weapons like in other VS clones would also be nice.

By the way, the music is perfect, I especialy like one of the shop themes.

What kind of build were you doing in that run, if you can remember? Other people were saying the 10 minute mark was a bit of a wall.

Like how many turrets, which guns, which supports.

Thanks

Oh, by the way, the music is all ripped from DoDonPachi DaiOuJou, Ketsui: Kizuna Jigoku Tachi, and Espgaluda, three Cave bullet hells from the early 2000s. So I deserve no credit and you can check out more of their OSTs on your own, they're bangers for sure

I don't remember exactly, but I placed two turrets pretty much by accident. Then I picked The ability that makes your bullets fly all over the screen and a minigun. Then I stacked firerate and projectile amount.

Developer

Yeah that makes sense, thanks

I should maybe mention the weapon evolutions somewhere, the game's going to be a lot harder if you don't know about them...

Then again, Vampire Survivors doesn't mention the evolutions and just lets you find them naturally, so  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
