Great game, the art, sound and gameplay is fantastic!

Only bug I found was that sometimes objects spawn in midair, like chest and those exploding traps.

A small question, will there be shields in the game? It felt that some enemies could really knock you around, would be nice to be able to shield yourself against attacks.

I know the Dark Souls, Salt and Sanctuary, and Castlevania comparisons are obvious, this reminded me a lot of Circle of the Moon specifically. The gameplay could benefit from an attack while crouching, like a sweep or a jab at the legs,

The random generation also isn't great, I ended up with a few rooms that had exits that let back to themselves, and merchants stuck in ceilings. The menus also broke a few times, resulting in inescapable screens that look like the screenshot on the other comments page. Also, I can't tell if it's intentional or not, but the game seems to hang after death.

It's got some design shortcomings and it's rough technicly, but it might be cool in the future.

feels very bloodborne-like, good shit.

  • found a glitch where when your dude wakes up and you're mashing the attack buttons, he just keeps falling down. maybe its a feature idk.
  • really dig the art, real clean and not cluttered
  • feel like the attacks should have more pushback, I often found myself stuck in the middle of some enemies unable to fight without getting killed or having to walk back a few steps. maybe I just suck at videogames.
  • controls feel tight
  • you don't have to do this, but I think it would be dope if there were rooms that were nearly pitch black (maybe only able to see like 5-10 pixels infront of you) where you need to hold a torch in one hand, or some magic light spell, to be able to see where you're going.
keep it up dude. I really want to play a finished version of this.
