I know why the game crashed there. There is a weapon swap system in place, where the player can change weapons. If they aren't holding any weapons it crashes. I'm trying to figure out a good way to get around it. My only solution is to disable the ability to hold multiple weapons at a time.
I'll add some screenshots in a bit. The cover image was made by a separate artist who looked at the game and it works very well for Steam, But yes, the red isn't in the game itself. Mainly since black and white only isn't really good looking for what Steam demands.
Edit: I uploaded a new build with weapon switching disabled which should remove the crash

The itch page needs screenshots. Normally I wouldn't look at games that don't have any.
From the few seconds played, I didn't the vibe that the poster image shows (the lack of red mostly).
