Nice game! I liked the pixelated art style and the shifting biomes, it was a nice touch to go with the scaling difficulty. Nice job!

Thank you!!

Very challenging - I don't know if there's an end or if the landscape goes on forever, but I only made it to the snow area. Attacking and chopping wood seems too slow compared to how quickly the players die. The game's resolution was very small on my screen too, so it was hard to read the tutorial text or to find items because they were so skinny. But I really like the concept! It reminds me of Dwarf Fortress a little 🙂

Thank you so much for playing and taking the time to respond! I totally agree that I made it a little too challenging. Both characters have different chopping speeds. The one in red chops faster but moves slower than the one in green. That may help!

And there is an ending past the snowy area. You get colder faster in this area, so you must build fires quickly; but once through, you reach a boat and sail away, winning the game.

I unfortunately bit off more than I could chew and did not have enough time to polish what I have. I had a ton of fun working on it though and am thinking about remaking it and taking more time to make it as good as it is in my head. Thanks again for your feedback!
