Here's mine! A bullet hell puzzle game set on a tightrope!

Slackliner: https://sullymander.itch.io/slackliner

There's a lot to improve still, but I am really happy with what I achieved. Also realized Godot is awesome!

Very fun game! I love the pixel art style and sound design.

Really nice game! I love the atmosphere and art style. Gameplay is snappy and fun. The main menu confused me at first, I couldn't find the play button! But that is a nitpick haha nice work!

This game is great! The hit feedback is very satisfying and the sprites and color palette are wonderful. It is very easy to see the enemies and player at a glance against the background. Gameplay was fun and responsive.  At first I played the browser version, and then switched to the downloadable game. At first I found the distortion effect when dashing to be a little distracting and the bubble particles hid my character a bit too much, but I got used to it quickly.

Again, really fun game! I would love to see it expanded if you ever decide to!

thank you so much!!

I just submitted my game, Slackliner, to the jam. I'm pretty happy with it! This my first project (or attempt at a project) in Godot, after been with Game Maker for a super long time. Happy I have something to show for it!

Anyways, good luck to everyone who is still pushing, and congrats to everyone who has submitted. I can't wait to check out your games!

Wow. I loved this game! So much atmosphere. Can't wait to try other paths!

This game has such a rich atmosphere due to the art style, sound design, and post processing effects. Great work! I am not sure if this game has a lose condition, as I have not found it, nor a win condition.

The AI of the ghosts responding to the dog's light was very responsive and predictable, which made the game all the more enjoyable. Also I love the book's layout. Keeping it "simple" with no text and instead the silhouette when not captured, and the sprite when captured. It keeps the ghosts mysterious. I'm so curious why this lake (?) has so many spirits. Anyway I really liked this game!

Thank you!!

Thank you so much for playing and taking the time to respond! I totally agree that I made it a little too challenging. Both characters have different chopping speeds. The one in red chops faster but moves slower than the one in green. That may help!

And there is an ending past the snowy area. You get colder faster in this area, so you must build fires quickly; but once through, you reach a boat and sail away, winning the game.

I unfortunately bit off more than I could chew and did not have enough time to polish what I have. I had a ton of fun working on it though and am thinking about remaking it and taking more time to make it as good as it is in my head. Thanks again for your feedback!

Glad you enjoy it mysterious stranger
