The game looks pretty cool in places, and the faux gravity is awesome! I had no idea what I was actually doing gameplay wise, but I managed to beat the game somehow :P Although when I did I couldnt click the button because the cursor was still locked and hidden.
The concept behind the game is pretty interesting though!
thank you for the feedback, it was a massive task to take on and we ended up running out of time.
yeah i noticed that too, the cursor lock was meant to turn off on that screen sorry about that.
I will look at trying to make a better version of the game some time in the near future
Funnily enough the end result faux gravity wasn't as impressive as what we originally had, but that combined with the solar system and main gameplay (gunplay and enemies) made for some interesting "features".
Ideally me and Tim would like to go back and finish this game how we initially thought it would be complete, and maybe a little extra. With this post-jam patch, I personally hope to allow the player to move freely between planets, either launching from pads or in a spaceship. Moving multi-body faux gravity should be far more impressive then seperate instances of singular-body faux gravity, just stay tuned ;)
Cool game! A bit broken in places, but the visual style and music is really good!
Thank you so very much, yeah the time frame crept up a bit on us in the end haha
