LD Records and Neo Egg must be quite big companies to have so much buildings ;)

Nice shooter, although a little too much on the unforgiving hard side for me. Keep up the good work! Rated!

XD Yeah. 'LD' is based off a certain internet person who made a few classic internet songs, and 'Neo Egg' is just the first thing that popped into my head for a futuristic sign for some reason.

Anyway, yeah, I could probably remove a few enemies here and there, especially for the easier difficulties (Which I tested the game on because I suck at games like this, despite just making one). Thank you for the feedback and the kind words!

Well, the many color-web background didn't help me, but the customization of ship is excellent, and the shooting is OK.  Entering the "portal" or gate at the beginning is also fine, like in Blood Money.

Thank you for the feedback. Did the backgrounds distract you/make things blend in, or were you mostly not a fan of them?

After a time they would disturb me, as the web is too bright. Unpleasant for the eyes if I remember games with similar appearance (torches, or the like). But was interesting to see it. As a sci-fi / matrix background it makes sense, perhaps in less harsh green would be better!

Developer

Ah, okay, makes sense. Thank you for elaborating, I'll tone it down if I ever continue work on this or do something similar.

Is nice to able to customize your ship, the menu positioning was very weird I wasnt able to see full, the levels are fun and challenging, I love bullet hell games and this was fun to play!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, Very glad you enjoyed it!

Nice little space shooter! I like the ability to customize the ships, although It would help by having parts be unlocked since it can give the player over choice when they first start.

The art is nice, although some assets clash, health bar seems a bit out of place, asteroids don't fit the theme, and some enemy lasers blend in with the background. The main menu text is also very hard to read.

The enemies that stay on the top / sides when the character changes direction is a cool touch, although I didn't feel like it was intended. Having some more focus into this mechanic would be a very cool idea!

Overall a nice fun little space shooter!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! I actually began on this before I found out about the game jam, and I originally intended to make basically everything unlockable, and have multiple teirs of customization. Of course, this was simplified for the game jam.

As far as everything else, yeah, I'll be the first to admit I'm not the greatest artist out there, haha. And the enemy stuff was intended, I tried to put thought into the enemy placement so it felt fair, challenging, and engaging.

All in all, thanks again for the feedback, and I'm glad you had some fun with it.
