  • Love the art style and the HUD on this! I couldn't quite figure out what I was supposed to do and it seemed like there were quite a few bugs, but it liked how ambitious you were with the resource gathering/crafting stations! I definitely could've used a minimap to find my way back to my base.
  • I loved the character animation and the simple environment that was desolate and crying out for some signs of life! But I didn't know what I was doing. I presume something like subnautica or simple Minecraft interactions, but it just wasn't intuitive enough. Also, I wandered and immediately got hopelessly lost and couldn't find my base again. It's a lot to even just set up the mood of a place in 48h, so good job. But I'd be excited to see the interactions a bit clearer and shown to the player

I got unlucky, my character got stuck a few times, forcing me to restart the game. Despite that, and even if some more explanations would be great, it got me curious and I think i could enjoy it as a released game. With some more time and polish, I am sure you can go from a currently good game to a great game. Good job here ! ^^

The art is cool and it feels like a standalone game so nice one!
Would definitely need more of an introduction / tutorial to everything you need to keep track off! ;)
Nice one :)

I like how the game fits the theme, apart from struggle to learn what to do... I really enjoyed playing it.

Developer

Thank you so much for your review!! :)) Yeah, it's not intuitive at all I have to improve that for my next jam!

a tutorial would be cool, I did not understand what everything was for. I liked the very "bouncy" character animation x)

Developer

Yeah, I'm totally agree, everything is a bit non intuitive, if I had 1 more I'd have done a tutorial and fixed some bugs but nope :(. Thanks for your review!!!

This has a lot of potential but I can't figure out how to use the hoe.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the review! Yeah, it's a bit non-intuitive... For using the hoe, you need fungus in your inventory and left click on dirt (in the farming node) with the hoe selected and, in order to make the fungus grow, you have to water that dirt with the watering can. I hope that makes any sense :))

Cool concept
