  • I like the concept of taking a submarine down deep into a marine crevice and the gradual loss of sunlight, I just wish there was more gameplay. I also played it all the way to the bottom expecting a pay-off and there was nothing.
  • I really like the idea of the submarine. I would like a fail state and a reason to catch fish, but the idea is simple and great and I love the creepy escalation of only being to see using my light.

This game looks good and it's cool to see that you put some effort into the graphics to make it unique. Now it's missing something. Apart from the audio which would help with immersion and feedback, a feature to let us know how well we're doing (e.g. a score) would have given meaning to our actions.  At the moment, whether I'm catching fish, destroying mines or blowing up the ship, it doesn't affect my game at all, and that can be quite frustrating. Anyway, it's still a fun game and you can be proud of what you've achieved in 48 hours!  :D

thank you for the response, very helpful. i am working on a more complete version of the game. This was my first game jam and wasn't able to time manage anything well. This helps a lot thank you

This game looks so nice, but it isn't really enjoyable as for now :|. Mainly because it misses some backround music and explosions/catching sounds, maybe making it endless would help also because as of right now it really doesn't matter if you collide with something. I really like the main mechanics and I think the game can improve on lots of things. I enjoyed the part when it was so dark you really needed to turn on the lights :) and you could make it like at some point that the lights start flickering and the light distance shrinks or something like that to keep it interesting. And the walls could change sometimes too, like getting narrower or wider... You have a nice start but it seems kinda unfinshed :)

Developer

i'll keep the light idea in mind when finishing the project thank you

Nice one, the art is good and the controls are fine :)
It might miss a bit of sound for the immersion!

Otherwise it's pretty good :)

Developer

anything you suggest for the controls to be better.
