I agree with Proto_here that it could be easier to distinguish notes, but I think I also am pretty bad at rhythm games haha. This game is super awesome and I can tell a lot of work was put into it, wasn't expecting a rhythm game to be done for this project!
This is really sick and creative! I think it might be easier on the player if there was a little less visually going on, because it can get a bit cluttered and difficult to differentiate between notes. So, maybe the arrows could be a bit more distinct from the background by having a dark lane similar to guitar hero? Just a thought, but overall this is super cool!
I like what it's going for. The lane system may seem like a straightforward mechanic, but it adds a layer of challenge not seen in traditional rhythm games. It's like the 'patting your head while rubbing your belly' phenomenon; requires coordination but can be practiced with enough time. Music sounds great so far. Can't wait to see how the finished game will look.
The game looked polished but was wayyyyyyyyyy to hard even on easy mode. also the tutorial is a liar I was dying when it said it was going easy on me XD. I want to know if any of you were able to complete this game.
We intended it to be pretty difficult, it takes a second to get used to the systems. But yes most people compared Level 1 Easy to Medium on guitar hero.
Genuinely a fun mechanic having the two separate controls even if I couldn't pass the easy level. Shizzle is hard as junk but dangnabbit did the music go hard and the premise of this even harder. Good rhythm game. Definitely let rhythm gamers (those Darn OSU and FNF and umm Dance of Fire and Ice) play this and give you better critiques.
