  • Having used Scratch many years ago when I was first starting out in game dev, it is amazing to see what you were able to do within the website! You captured the atmosphere of the original video excellent. I had some trouble controlling it, but that helped with the 'horror' aspect of the game. I appreciate the multiple endings, and the ambiguity of the "good" ending. If this is what you can do in Scratch, you're going to make some very cool games down the line. I look forward to playing them :)
  • The horror story and theme feels very inspired; the video setup sets a very strong tone. The actual gameplay experience is a bit more rough; hard to understand goals, hard to see messages and feedback elements, etc. Love the camera battery premise. All in all a solid foundation; needs more love to feel complete.
  • Reminds me of old 90s pc games! Would love too see a bunch more enemy types and some more fleshed out visuals. Very spooky!
  • Although this game is rugged, I am very impressed such young and driven students made this in 48 hours! I would have never been able to do that at your age and I can see so much potential for you to continue developing your skills in programming and in game development. This game gave me old Wolfenstein vibes. My main recommendation is that you should try finding a more consistent art between the UI and gameplay to make the game feel a bit more complete. I hope to see you participate in more game jams in the future. You should be very proud of yourselves :)
  • It is really impressive to see a game like this made in Scratch. You folks obviously have some skills. The visuals of the game are suitably spooky. I love the yellow environment and the monster is just creeepy. I was super impressed by the camera and resolution sliders in the game. I wish that we could have seen the winning of the game.
