Very cute! The graphics are cohesive with a great choice of colors. I couldn't tell why SunSun would walk by the full food bowl when she was very hungry tho.
Thanks! I wanted to make it accurate to having an actual cat. They have a preference for eating from a certain bowl, which can be very frustrating. Especially if you have a second animal.
If you want her to prefer eating from a specific bowl you can spray her when she eats at others (each spray decreases preference by 5% compounded) and pat her at the bowl you want her to eat from.
In order to get sunsun into a sustainable cycle for 5+ days you really need to train her to eat from a single bowl, scratch indestructible furniture (cat toy/tree) and sleep on the same level.
Finally I've had a chance to play this game for more than a couple of minutes and I have to say that I love every bit of it!

What ending did you get?
unfortunately I had to quit after the third day (I was using a break at work), I need to restart it, now I want to see all the endings! :)
Tried this on my laptop and realized that it opens at pixel x = 1500, so on small screens it will not show up.
On windows right click the task bar and select "Show Desktop" then right click again and select "Show Open Windows" it should now be visible
If you are having issues.
Clone version of the game `git clone https://gitlab.com/alexjgriffith/welcome-home-sunsun.git`
and install love2d v11 https://love2d.org/
You should be able to change the display settings in lua.conf to
`t.window.x =0 `
`t.window.y=0`
`run make`
Now you should be able run the game using `love .`

Realized you will need to run make once you clone the file!
Saves you the pain of getting attached! Which ending did you get?
Just noticed this was a reply to me, the cat was taken away from me because it was being very expensive :(
Now I will never get a cat :D
