Once I got on Win10, worked fine! If only I could say the same about my jumping skillz... As others have mentioned a slightly gentler learning curve would be nice. ; - ) Parallax is good and I liked how the instructions were integrated with initial gameplay.

Thanks, glad you liked it :-)

ran great on windows, challenging platformer with decent polish, I liked it! The sprite animations were especially nice

Just to let you know, got this from latest Windows build from GitHub (jupiter-candle-win10.zip) running on Win 7 (not Win 10, so maybe that's the problem...). Sure sounds interesting from everybody else's reactions though!

Yea probably win 7 - I have no way to deploy or test on win 7 right now.

If you really want to try you could install SBCL (http://www.sbcl.org/) and quicklisp and run it from source as described on the itch page.

Thanks, I think I can get access to a Win10 machine before period ends. ; - )

The game feels very nice in the beginning when there's a huge boost for speed but it almost always stops when you knock a platform with your head and it kind of goes very slow from there. Very nice sound effects weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

This is super neat!

The music is really nice, a great fit.

The animations of the astronaut are tight, I love the somersault.

There’s a really good variety of platforming (I reset a bunch, saving humanity is hard).

Love the parallax effect from the multiple background layers.

Thanks for playing, glad you like it :-)

Generating levels of more predictable difficulty is something we really hope to do in the future.

Sorry, packaging was way harder than expected. Win10 .zip file is available in the github now. (a mere 11h too late)
