Piracy isn't cool and something to be proud of!!!

This is the typical Indian mentality. We are so illiterate about piracy that we don't even understand that it is not something that we should support and promote. I see so many idiots openly promoting use of pirated softwares in YouTube videos. Most of the personal PCs here are running a pirated version of Windows.

It's not like we don't have an option. But it's more about what kind of person we want to be. If something is really good, show your support by buying it, else use the free resources.

Pro tip: Think twice before promoting piracy.

P.S: I know that use of p2p clients is not illegal. It's illegal only if you are participating in piracy. But the context clearly indicates that you are talking about pirating paid content.

Sorry For Promoting It Here but what a student of class 12th do if his parents think that there study is more important and game development will destroy his future .I real Want To Learn something and i font have money to pay for it neither i get from home for purchasing it. once again sorry if mine comment made you feel bad. i am not of that kind, i also purchase other app which me and my parnts think worth purchasing like fact-tech  ultimate brain booster, well you should also try that app it just boost my productivity

I totally get your point and I've been there. Sometimes it's hard to convince your parents for such stuff. But from my experience I've seen that almost everything that I want to learn is freely available. I have purchased multiple courses from Udemy but never found them worth the price. Like for game dev you can always find so many good YouTube channels like Brackeys and GDQuest. If I have to give a suggestion, I say first become good at programming in any one langauge. After that you will not have to follow whole tutorial step by step. Just be looking at any game you will know how to design that game in your head.

HHmmm Thanks, For Your Advise, After Participating In This Jam I Have Learned One Thing , how to move with your game i learned to learn stuffs just when there is need of it, there is no need of any one to teach you there are tons of source to learn it from, any problem which you are facing is already faced by someone and probably there must be a solution for it in same post

Exactly. And this why I love game jams. I always find myself learning new things in every jam that I participate. Getting your game play tested by others and then getting their feedback is so much fun. I've met some really nice people because of my last jam. 😁

Here is one jam hosted by my friend. Join if you want https://itch.io/jam/tri-annual-jam
