I want to say that you are stating at the good place & promise that you will complete your game.
In my vison
your gameplay is so good and its keep me interested about 12 minutes. here my suggestion :
your core gameplay it's so good and you need to just add some visual and audio and some maps [levels] its will become perfect game .

I am waiting for full story mode. The whole theme of this game looks interesting. The soundtrack was also a perfect match for the theme. There are some bugs here and there, but that can be overlooked. This was a jam submission anyways. Final version will definitely be interesting to play. I enjoyed this proto.
The Story Mode is a prototype that I added for some suggestions. The Story Mode will be added as Coming Soon in official releases. I will have to work a lot on it. I thought of adding it but I had very little time and tried to include a lot of features. Also the story mode was taking way too much time and effort. This little story that you played took me 2 days to make and introduced a lot of bugs. I had to create a different character controller for the casual game mode because of this.
I also added story mode so you can know how the torch came to be but I needed a little more story for that so It feels left out.
Also, I have just added a new Game Mode in the game : Survival Mode. If you have time, please try that one out too.
Also, Enemy Attack Animation and Sounds will be added in the next update in 2-3 hours.

This was my first ever game that I made before this I was just following tutorials because I was learning. I didn't expect much out of it tho.
1. your story is going preety fast and startight forward.
2. I dont understand how those small shadows damage player add some animation or something there
now coming to pros,
1. sound track in background suits the game perfectly it just boost mine play exprence to different level
also art used are wonderfull
