Are we allowed to work with other people?

Hi there, I wasn't sure if this was like other game jams where it's allowed to work in a team with other people. If it's okay to form a team, would anyone like to join a team with me?

What sort of game did you have in mind?

Nothing is written in stone for me, because I'd be plenty happy to workshop different IF concepts with people, but my own idea to fall back on in case nothing comes up is working on a story that functions like a more mechanically involved dating simulator. I'd require some help from people who know how to code more confidently than me however. ^^;; I can code and write a standard visual novel well enough, so if people would like assistance writing a visual novel to completion, I'd be happy to join in and work with y'all!

This sounds more like a choice-based thing, rather than parser-based, so I can't help out there. Coincidentally, I wrote a game for ParserComp 2021 that's all about a nerdy guy trying to get a girl's phone number for a date. This was written in Inform 6. You can check it out at Danny Dipstick, but it currently requires a z-code interpreter to play the story file. See bottom of instructions for details.

If you need help or collaboration with Inform 6 (including PunyInform) or Adventuron classroom, I can help out. Otherwise, you'll have to find someone else. Either way, good luck with your game.

Eh, I'm looking for collaboration in general, and it doesn't have to be on one of my ideas. If anyone wants to work together on a fiction story with me, I think it'd be fun! :)

Oh yeah, working in a team is totally fine!

Thank you!
