Hey, is visual novels with static or sprite-based visuals be accepted? Must the project be text-based only?

Also, just in case, should the game be completed before the deadline, or can we submit a half-done project due to not be able to commit with the deadline?

I think visual novels are fine! I should update the jam rules. And yeah, it's fine to submit a half-done project. The jam is basically just supposed to be a low stress environment to make an IF game.
