I can't be the only one to think the candy falling death is brutal. It explains why peppermint is so unhappy, walking on the exploded corpse of his candy friend. Nice game and the little story was a nice touch.

The game mechanic is a classic, but man does it look good! I loved every sprite in the game, even the font looks amazing! Ive seen vlads video playing your game and In my computer it works much slower for some reason. Not low fps, the game works smooth as silk actually, just slower. I still enjoyed quite a lot.

Developer

Yeah I realised a little too late that I accidentally tied the spawn rate of the objects to the fps ^^;

Hope you had fun regardless!

Hey. I recorded a video about the Beginners Circle jam and included your game in it. If you want to cut your game out of the video, let me know. However, if you like the video, I make similar videos every day. I will be happy if you subscribe. Anyway, I enjoyed playing your game.

I love the character designs -- especially when the bread falls face down... so hilarious. However, the game feels a little too fast to start. I would probably start slower and ramp up to the speed you have now. Great job!

Developer

That was actually the plan! However, time constraints led me to focus on other things instead. Funnily enough, in the editor, the game is much slower, but when I built the game, it was way faster. I'm assuming its to do with frame rates but I didn't have time to fix it, and I actually felt it was more fun than what I had before, so I just rolled with it :p

Developer

Also, thank you very much for playing!
