Thank you, I just wanted to make sure they weren’t taken from anywhere else that might cause licensing issues. Please forgive my caution, and thank you very much for providing free assets to the community

What is the source of the audio files you sped up to get the effects?

Sorry, good point. Here you go: https://github.com/julkaswieta/lost

The game is a bit of a buggy mess, I'll give you that, but it wasn't really meant to be a polished product, just a proof of concept.

Yeah I realised a little too late that I accidentally tied the spawn rate of the objects to the fps ^^;

Hope you had fun regardless!

Also, thank you very much for playing!

That was actually the plan! However, time constraints led me to focus on other things instead. Funnily enough, in the editor, the game is much slower, but when I built the game, it was way faster. I'm assuming its to do with frame rates but I didn't have time to fix it, and I actually felt it was more fun than what I had before, so I just rolled with it :p

Thank you very much <3 that gives me motivation in a time where game dev has escaped me entirely.

Yeah, I was working on a drag and drop system, but had to go into crunch mode as this was originally a college assignment, and then development was dropped entirely after this demo so I could work on the next one for college. (That one is also up on here as Skhetch)

I'll definitely resume work on this some time, especially now that Part 5 is airing, and I'll keep you guys updated.

Thanks, its not for the faint of heart I guess lmao. I do of course plan to have a much more gradual build up in difficulty eventually, but I thought it best to showcase the kind of difficulty I envisioned.

(1 edit)

Yeah I think I noticed that earlier too. I have no idea what causes it, but it seemed to happen mostly when I jumped to another one of the blocks after. I'll look into it soon.

And yeah the coins are kinda there to bait you off the easy path and give you an optional challenge.

The game is not playable in browser because the control scheme would make it irritating. You'll thank me later.

Though I appreciate the detailed feedback @Hamfist McMutton

It's a college dev thing, so you're right about it being slapped together in a day. Just uploading for the sake of having something up.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Hamfist McMutton

Only XInput controllers are compatible (xbox controllers), as its a 4-player game
