I managed to get a few doors in, but had an issue that prevented me from continuing.

After selecting a drink, controls seem to go all wonky. It felt like a movement key was stuck "held down." At one door, this seemed to cause me to fall off the world. Or maybe I was staring up at the sky? Either way it was all grey and I died.

Also, this happened:

Which was sort of a relief, because the other potions didn't seem super fun.

Nice job getting 3d animations working! This is definitely the first time I've killed some things with a sword in an FPS in bevy. It's cool to see bevy and its third party ecosystem growing and enabling stuff like this in jam timeframes.

I struggled to kill any enemies, but maybe I’m just not very good, lol. The music was nice and I think with just a few more lights the game would have quite a nice atmosphere! Agreed with the other commenter that some additional feedback for hits/parries would be nice (plus maybe a quick tutorial or onscreen controls). Edit: ignore the comment about controls, I am dumb and forgot to read the description on the actual game page.

It's really dark and I miss some sort of sound or effect to communicate to me that my attack or parry was successful. If I have to look at the bars while also trying to make out the enemies and their movements, it takes some of the fun out of it.

Yep, agreed. Wish I had time for sound + particles, especially since the enemy can both deflect and parry your artacks and right now it’s hard to tell which one happened

Fun enough, but I couldn't get past level 2 - once I break their posture, they wiggle forever with full health and I can't seem to kill them :( The lighting is also very dark, so it can be difficult to see what's going on. Overall enjoyed breaking some eggs though.

Thanks for checking it out :) I really like the art in your submission, its nicely spooky and unsettling in a cool way
