I'm honestly still quite confused by what is going on / what different combinations of antidotes are doing for me. My first instinct was to just never use a bitter thing, because in the in-game UI it seemed purely negative. After going back and forth between game and description a few times, I'm closer to understanding. At least I know how to get additional cells now. But "infection" is still a bit of a mystery.

I'm seeing the game/UI oddly positioned in full screen mode on the web, and "cut off" outside of full screen mode. I'm not sure if this is a general web bug or specific to my high dpi screen.

I also encountered a few other bugs:

- The "inject substances" button error message shows up multiple times if you click too fast.

- When dragging cells near each other, they seem to get stuck on top of each other with no way of separating them again.

Hi, thank you so much for the detailed inspection. Yes indeed all of the bugs you noticed are acknowledged but due to the time constraint of the Jam, I was not fix them in time. Probably I will polish them more post-jam!

For the cut off, some other games within this jam have this issue as well, probably because we have not use Bevy correctly or there is a bug in the engine itself.

One final notes is that i did really one to have a "Tutorial Screen" to guide player how to use substances to create antidotes, when to buff the cell strengths in sacrifice for being "Healthy", and when to lower the infection level of your cells, without gaining any strengths.

If you try playing the game a few times, use as much Sweet as possible, ther will be 70% chance your cell will be "fully infected", some may become Red and start attacking Good Cells (just like bad cells at the start of each wave). However, because the feats were not well-polished, I think the game has not fully expressed the idea :D.

One final note is that the Fully Infection happens when a cell's infection > its immunity.

Thanks again!

Game hanged for me on third or fourth wave, as information to you. Not sure why (obviously). I like the concept, I had issues moving the cells around and during that phase I think it would be nice if the info on every cells stats was more readily available. This is feedback for future improvements, not as a critique of the game as it is. It was a nice little game!

Thanks for your feedbacks, it seems that most people will stuck at around wave 3 - 4 due to uncaught bugs. Probably will make some improvements post-jam!

Fun! Took me a bit of time to understand the sweet+bitter thing… and then I read the description :D

Got stuck on a screen with two red and two green cells

Developer

Thanks a lot! The stucking you encountered probably related to a bug that red cells failed to seek nearby opponents, lol
