  • Fun Jenga clone but would've been nice to have some sort of twist to set it a part and make it a more unique experience. The leaderboard is cool and gives you some replayability and the guide helps fit the companion criteria while giving a more interactive tutorial.
  • I do like jenga and this is a cool take on it. Its extremely hard and although i do like hard games in some areas it felt like the physics was too perfect which took from the user experience. Often in physics games you need to adjust some of the perfect physics to improve user experience. Theme wise you have ticked the box with the leaderboard rivalry but the mystery companion shows up once and isnt seen again. I think you could have done more with this perhaps he could come help you by defying physics in certain areas or hold one side thus addressing the point i outlined above.

How are you?

My name is Ilias.

I tried testing your game "Falling Tower" .

But The loading Screen freezes and dosent go to the game .

 i am using Microsoft Edge 

I Would gladly share some feedbacks  , thoughts, and questions . So i'll try  another time after to see if it works .


Some Questions:

Did you include any optimisation techniques or did you rather chose to include only the in-engine ones.

what engine and tools did you use to create your game , your graphics ?

was it hard to develop your game ? did you experience any challenges ?

what inspired you for your game idea , and the gameplay ? The Game's name  and story ?

Even though the game is hard due the bouncy physics, it felt GREAT to move the bricks around. But also the bounciness adds to the game IMO. I can see it being a 'mouse' smashing game while playing with a friend/friends 😂

Very decent ( and hard! ) entry.  The music was not helping me out at all here and I had it muted pretty quick. 

I found there was no room for error with the mouse controls. Which is kind of how Jenga is, but on the other hand you might give the player a tiny bit more slack.

Good job on finishing it within the jam!

I’m used to go fast with the real jenga, but this didn’t seem to be possible here, so I had to learn to play slowly, but nice physics, I really like the slightly bouncy pieces. The music drove me crazy pretty fast tho, but other than that solid reproduction, well done!

Finding the right balance to actually pull the bricks was an experience, I ended up just pressing both mouse button at the same time so that the camera rotation would compensate the brick movement. Really neat stuff you have here, do you have any advice on how to pull the bricks without the entire structure coming along with it ?
