How does your game represent Mode?
Beast Mode was/is the nickname of Marshawn Lynch back when he played in the NFL. The main character draws a few similarities to Marshawn. He was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the theme of the game jam. Often times Marshawn would be seen eating skittles on the sidelines of NFL games so that's why your "Beast Mode" meter goes up when you collect them. He also famously took a golf kart for a joyride on a college football field when he was a student and that's where the bonus stage theme comes from.

Very fun! This is a great, unique interpretation of the theme, and I had a fun time racking up points and going into Beast Mode. The controls were pretty tight, and I felt like I had a good freedom of movement throughout. As others have mentioned, more sound effects would have been nice, but I don't think it's a huge deal. Well done!

Marshawn Lynch would be proud! Very cool idea!
Some feedbacks:
- Add more SFX, so it`s clearer when we get hit or stiff-arms someone;
- Lock de Z-axis, sometimes Lynch twists and falls on it`s side on the ground and then the movement gets all weird and it is necessary to reset the game;
- The Bonus Kart Stage was a super cool idea, it reminded me of Street Fighter bonus stages;
- Loved the hand-drawn art style, makes the game pop and gives it a cool retro vibe reminiscent of Miniclip days.
Good job! Great addition to the jam and more people should play it!
OMG! I had no idea about him falling over! I thought I made all the colliders triggers except for the floor! Thanks for pointing that out! Good call about the SFX, I unfortunately ran out of time before I could add all the effects I wanted.

Totally rad football platformer with a great sense of humor. Was rolling at buystuff.com, the TAT tats, and when you go beast mode.... well, you'll see. BRB I gotta run out and grab some skiddles...

This is a fun take on a football game, I was not expecting the kart bonus mode but that was awesome. Great art, I know from experience that drawing football players is harder than you would expect and you nailed it. Also a big fan of the BuyOurStuff.com parody ads, great details throughout.

The hitboxes seem a bit funky but the theming is excellent!
