How does your game represent "Power"?
You must fight against an alternate version of yourself, who is significantly more powerful than you. I've tried my best to emphasise the sheer difference in power between the player and boss, through the gameplay mechanics and stylistic choices. One example is that the boss can't take damage directly and must get staggered first.

You also have a dash-power bar, which you carefully need to control, since it's responsible for quick displacement, attacking and also blocking attacks.

God damn that boss fight feels impossible.

Although it is intentionally hard, I may have made it just a tad bit too difficult lol. I still think it’s possible.

Even so, thanks for playing!

Yeah, don't worry. I know my comment might seem negative but I still enjoyed the game. Good job.

That's tough! I spent about ten minutes of attempts before calling it quits. The tracking circles were especially difficult to deal with. I really like the movement, feels very fluid and precise. I like the alternate's moveset, very Dragonball.

I did not get too much time to balance, so it is quite hard, but definitely possible given how reflectors block all damage. My record so far is 1/5 hp. I will try to expand the tips section at the bottom since I think a specific approach is needed to be able tackle this boss. If this was a souls-like(ish) game, this boss wouldn’t be an issue, but in the case of a jam, no one is going to spend half an hour to beat a singular boss.

Anyways, thanks for playing! I will likely release a follow-up patch after the voting phase to include a few tweaks and improvements.
