okay okay not bad. i can kinda see the theme here (characters loop when hitting the wall, right?). i should've read the game page directions haha controls were different than i was used to. it'd be nice if the character looped all the way back to the edge rather than in the middle. honestly not much else to say for a simple game that collins didn't already mention.
for your first game jam you did great. your files ran, your game doesn't shatter somewhere, there's not a harsh difficulty curve ( although it does get too easy over time ). keep up the game devving! someone i binged after my first (completed) game jam entry was a ytber called Design Docs that helped me understand the game design part of game dev. opened my eyes, maybe it will be of use to you if you wanna game jam again someday.
Thanks for you're opinion on my project :) i hope my next entries will get better and better. And yeah, i should add more customizibility to difficulty level, and probably make it more polished. Still, real thank's for you're feedback
It's really neat to see an entry made by a young programmer! They should be very pleased with themselves for submitting. As I usually do, I like to provide feedback and suggestions for future games or work on the same project.
Overall, they should be excited that they were able to submit to a game jam, and be encouraged to keep learning and making new things!
Realy thanks to you for that feedback :) game is not ideal after all, since i don't have that much experience and it was my first ever game jam entry. But game jam is such of fun. I will try my best in next B&W jam
No worries! You can learn a lot from your first game jam (and others too!) Feedback has always helped me improve!
