A fine game, that is fun for a little while, pretty good, even if I am not that good at it.

Developer

Thx for playing :))πŸŽ‰

Was quite challenging till I got the hang of it. Definitely would have been improved by the levels changing or something on the left to keep you on your toes, but I understand the time limits in the game jam. I liked the link with the theme too

Developer

Thank you for playing and giving some feedback :))
Yes  I had many ideas and features planned. But due to time limit and my personal life there wasn't time to add everything :) So I kept it simple and think I either will continue work on this game or I keep it as is and create a new one with all feedback in mind + my other ideas :)

Submitted(+1)

Overall good experience, not quite sure how it links to the theme but I certainly had fun.

Developer

Thx for playing :)
When you are developing a game you feel like a god when everything goes right. But things might get out of hand and you need to keep your head straight. So the right side is the game that you have created and the left side is you.. the game developer :P

I think my brain is melting, but it was fun and very challenging!

Cool concept, accessible and easy to understand.

Good work!

Developer

Thank you for playing and giving feedback :))

Playing with both of us controlling one of the respective characters was definitely interesting. The platforming dude making sure the top-down dude doesn't git munched was pretty fun.

Playing with only one person controlling both sides of the screen was quite challenging, but still fun!

Developer

Thx for playing and giving feedback :) πŸŽ‰

Nice art and animation! Definitely also a cool concept. It is tough and fun to control both characters at the same time.
I do not really get why I need to move the right character.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks for playing and reviewing :)

Oops! Haha yes now when you write it, that is a flaw in the game! Should have made the right character always moving or something to make it harder!

But shhh, don't tell anyone else! xD haha

Hahah :D anyway, its nice!

That was a really interesting game ! Well done :) !

I liked how both characters handle different things, that is a really great idea that can be expanded on in so many ways !
In short nice game with a lot of potential, keep it up :) !

Developer

Thanks for playing and giving me feedback :)

Yeah I wrote a dev post about the progress. And I scratched a lot of features I wanted to implement due to the time limit :) But it could be a cool game to continue working on, or just take inspiration from to my next one. :)

graphics and sound fits the game well. The character design and character animations have a lot of work in them. Definitely a hard game to make! :)

Developer

Thank you for playing the game :) and for the feedback πŸ‘Œ

Dude, that was insane I'm pretty sure I broke half of the mechanics as I survived for over 2 minutes and had a score of 20. At that point I just sat the left guy on that top wall resetter button and the right guy was running so fast he couldn't pick up any more point balls he just ran right through them.  I can't say the quality was the best but the fact that by the end of the game I had my mouth open with awe and amazement at the sheer madness that was playing out before me  must say that the experience was well worth the play.  I saw your constructive feedback on another jam game and would love to hear from you if you get the chance to stop by. https://itch.io/jam/blackthornprod-game-jam-1/rate/319059

Developer

Haha thanks for playing my game and break the mechanics πŸ˜‚πŸ‘Œ yeah perhaps there should have been a way to revert the speed or something or just have a max speed instead of none.

I will definitely try your game and give some feedback in the morning :) πŸ‘Œ

Very nice concept that makes the gameplay challenging. As always, very cool pixel art!

Developer

Domo arigato mr roboto.

The mechanic is interesting, but you could do more with this...

Developer

Thanks. Yes I know, due to the time limit and this was my third attempted prototype to game idea I had it was all I could manage in time :)
Thx for taking time and play the game

Very clever concept together with cool pixel art make an impressive submition!

Developer

Thank you for the kind review :) There were a lot of different ideas I went through but then finally I came up with this idea. πŸ‘Œ

This game was confusing at the start, but when I understood what things did, I managed to survive for 3 minutes XD

It was simple, but interesting. It felt like  a hardcore version of Brothers: a tale of two sons's controllers.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing :) yes I didn't want it to be too simple but I might have made it too hard. πŸ˜… I haven't played that game, but I might give it a try to continue get inspiration to this :)) πŸŽ‰
