Very stylish, everything was well put together. I'm impressed, if this was made in one week!
Awesome game! 5 Stars!

After turning on Spotify I had a good time. I nearly didn't make it past the text only part but I figured it out and then immediately impressed with the mechanics progression. The core gameplay was slightly frustrating but definitely a fan of the theme, and innovation aspects. I was pleasantly surprised when it the mechanics changes occured, big fan. I would love some constructive feedback on my game as well if you have the time! https://itch.io/jam/blackthornprod-game-jam-1/rate/319059
I'll definitely check out your game. Not having enough time to polish was one of the things we struggled with most during this jam, and it's definitely been a learning experience for us. I'm glad you still managed to have fun with the innovation and mechanics progression, even if some parts of the gameplay were a little clunky. Thanks!
Beautiful graphics, great concept and execution! I was quite confused by the text adventure part at the beginning. The amount of content you made is great for a gamejam, well done teamwork. I would have loved a slightly more dynamic gameplay, but then I suck at video games anyway. I had the most trouble with the first level (walking past the monsters) actually.
Thank you! I absolutely loved your game, so I'm happy to hear that. The part with monsters and no health is always the one that trips us up too. A lot of us can't shake that instinct to try and run past them instead of waiting just a bit.
Interesting game. Though I had trouble understanding what to do. The prompt text was barely visible and then I started clicking the mouse and the error message was presented before me. It was not possible to scroll up to see what commands there were when I finally saw the input field :P
But when I saw it it was going smoothly :)
Thank so much for the feedback. I thought a lot about how to present the text section, but I really wanted to evoke that feeling players get when they think a game is one thing but it's really another. Readability and not being able to scroll up was an oversight though, apologies!
I plan on checking your game out later tomorrow. It looks good. I'll be sure to leave a comment then!
I really liked it, especially with the boss battle, however the attacking and dashing felt a bit clunky for me, so after numerous attempts I sadly wasn't able to beat the boss.
But a very cool game, looks good and interesting gameplay.
Thank you. I like the main character of your game, he's very eyecatching and definitely dev-like. The attack and dash polish is something I wish we had more time to focus on.
