Mike, This game is Brilliant. I Love the controls, you can really feel the momentum & the sluggish inertia when you have collected too much junk( Feels like how I think stuff moves in space). This gives each little collecting run a less is more/ risk reward loop. What is a good score? I got 1050. Great use of simple visuals & a strong color palette gives a complete look & feel. Also the music is great, it makes each attempt start off so optimistic, then I fly right into an asteroid.
It's really hard to manage your weight when you also have to be careful about your position with a player slippery like that. Seriously: It's horrible. Even if you want to do a rage game, that it's too much: maybe try to make it more responsive to the player, or maybe add a boost on one side... Otherwise your players will just quit the game in rage and frustration, thinking that the game wasn't fair with them, and never coming back....
Also, form what i can see there isn't displayed anywhere how much weight are you carrying, and that's not good, the player NEEDS that information in order to play the game (for similar reasons as the one i said before): Think about it making an UI that shows you how much you have in the inventory, and give some feedback when you reached the limit capacity, because in the game there was no feedback about that currently
Last, the score (i original thought it was displaying how much weight you was carrying, then later discovered it was a score), move it to the side, because on the center like that is just weird, and give it some context: for the player that it's just an arbitrary number on the screen that the player doesn't know anything about, and doesn't know what to do with it

Nice music and visuals. The controls did not feel responsive enough though. I think it would be better if it controlled like "Asteroids".

Hi! Congratulations on your first ever game! The art is gorgeous! In terms of presentation this game really rocks. The movement is a little hard to control, even before you pick up asteroids. Also! at the edge of the screen having asteroids spawn near you becomes frustrating. An indicator that an asteroid is coming at the edge of the screen would be a great addition.
