Loved the writing style. You made me chuckle sometimes and then sometimes so emotional. Although, I wanted to get rid of few things, but the text and memories would stop me to throw away things. You really have a great writing style and a good sense of humor. Also, I loved the art, it's so cute!! Reading the backstories and emotional touch with every object filled up the void of music. Great work!! Enjoyed it so much!!
Also, I'd really appreciate if you can play and review my game when you get time. Thank you!!
Absolutely love this game!!!! I love how almost everything is interactable and that the text tries to make you second guess your decision (which, by the way, I love the "back stories" you have behind each and every object!). Fantastic job!
A charming game with some great humour throughout, I feel like I know the person living in the room just from the items and their descriptions! I also like the matching up to the theme, and the art was good as well. It definitely made me smile haha. Nice work :)
i would give it a complete 5 stars rating if it had audio, but aesome game relly makes you think twice before acting, rate mine
I enjoyed this one. The little funny lines about each item when you first select Keep or Throw Away really elevated the basic gameplay. I wish there was sound though.
Loved the game!
A very funny playthrough, and some of it was disturbingly relatable :D
Nice job, did you do all of the artwork yourself?
All of the artwork was done for this game during the jam by the artist on our team!
Cool, well you guys did a great job!
Honestly one of my favorite games in the jam so far :)
Nice concept! fit the theme well I think
Lots of game try to be funny but they just kind of are, your really made me laugh!
But it also made me feel horrible because of being stuck in my choices, so well done I would say.
Also good take on the theme and very original idea!
The describtions are really good, but the way at witch they appear may be a bit annoying.
I like the descriptions of the objects , I feel like a monster whe I have choose if keep or throw away the cat :c. Nice game though.
Fun idea and the writing is really good!
Hey, yeah seems like we've made pretty similar games lol. The writing in yours is really great too and made me chuckle a few times.
One thing I tried with mine was to have some interactions between items when you throw some things, and I think you could've really benefited from doing that too, especially with the cat (first thing I threw out, I have no regrets. I kept her bed though, it was the only soft place remaining in the house without a couch). But the "psychology test" approach you took is super interesting!
Another thing, you might want to find ways to speed up the text for people who just want to get rid of the stuff. Like setting the visible text to the string's length if the player presses space again.
Otherwise, the art is great, the lack of sound and music is too bad but I didn't mind that much. I had a really good time
Beautiful art, there are some really trick questions, loved the design, great game overall
Great game with a lot of personality! I enjoyed sifting through things and reading about them!
Really interesting to hear why the items were there in the first place. I would go to get rid of something and then think dang that's actually a good reason to keep it. Shows how hard it can be to clean up.
I liked the visuals but I had a hard time understanding if I'm trying to fill the shoes of a character or clean the room how I would clean it. The logic the game had was not the same logic I had naturally so it became harder to understand if I needed to roleplay as a character or if I should be acting upon my own ways. It was incredibly confusing with decisions like tossing out clothing as it seems one would naturally just put into laundry rather than completely toss it away. Objects like rocks I would of enjoyed moving to a new location rather than leaving it in the same spot to help with the cleanliness rating since I'm all ready making large decisions like throwing out a piano that could naturally be fixed. I think I understand the theme with the game but it feels watered down due to the ambiguity of what you gain by throwing everything away? I appreciated the map feeling like a tv until you clicked on it and was told it was a map, that felt cleaver with the remote being next to it. Good use of pixel work there! Well done!
First of, the visuals are amazing! Fantastic design, and you took inspirations from a really relatable topic! The game felt quite empty without any sounds or music. A little lo-fi ambient sound would have really sufficed. It's a good psychological test. Well done mate(s)!
Cool experience!!
Really fun game! That how I am fell every time that I need to clean my house XD
Except for the cat, never throw away a cat!
that was fun until i threw away my cat
