Nice game, I liked the concept and how you executed it, the sounds were on point and the levels had a good progression, in my opinion, it gets a little frustrating after the third level, good work :)

I like this game. I like concept and how it fits with jam theme. I'm big brain while I'm playing your game. nice!!

Great concept! I like how it fits with the theme. The level design is great! So is the art style. I really enjoyed it!

Amazing art style mate, very polished and unique, as the rest of the game. Definitely this is not your first jam, it has a very professional finish and good dessigner ideas. I really enjoyed, greetings!!

Thanks for the compliment. I do work as a graphic designer but it is my first game.  Still very limited I what I can do in unity. Haven't figured out/ done the BTP Tutorial for lighting, UI, audio manager or effects.  Really could have done with lighting for this game. All that happens when the lights go out is the camera goes behind the game!

Well, maybe you can't do everything you want with Unity, but despite of that you managed to make a clever design and make a simple game but very enjoyable and with a very convincent aesthetics. I think that this skills are much more important than control every feature of Unity. Keep doing games mate. If this is your first game I wonder what can you do with the next ones.

Very unique game, you have my highest points on innovation. This was very challenging for me as I was very lazy to count the tiles and memorize them. Perhaps you can add some extra spatial sound effects on the levels so it's not all about memorization, but really playing it by the ear.
With the aesthetics/graphics, I really liked what you've done here. I thought it was a bit of a shame that I couldn't look at it much while coursing through the levels. So I have this idea where the background goes black and the only thing we'll see is the cute character. We still can't see where to go, but at least we can see some of the action. 😄
Nonetheless, good job on making the game, definitely has potential!

Very creative approach. Really glad you added the clicking noises when you move. Without that, the game would've been rough. But this is surprisingly really playable considering you can't see. That was fun. Great job.

Amazing game. Loved the creative use of the theme. I loved the color scheme and art, although I was not able to see it most of the time :-D Also, amazing sound effects and how you have shown the path of footsteps taken, that was really required and I'm glad you put it. Loved the level design. It's quite an engaging game. Great work!

If you have some time, please play and review my game. Thanks!

That is incredible, thank you so much. It might be the worst game ever to do a video review.

What a cool game! I really like the super clever use of the theme, the art and audio was great! Love the puzzle, overall this is a very fun and creative game! Great job!

Really great concept and the execution was very engaging.  Great color scheme! :)  I thought that a couple of the  beginner levels could have used a couple more obstacles, because it was so easy to get through.  Overall, looks great, creative, and fun to play.  Great work!

I'd love to get your feedback on my game also. :)

very creative concept! it's a really difficult game if you go all by memory, so having the ability to "c" sometimes was nice. My only critique is that it was kinda hard to tell the difference between the holes and the rocks. Overall, great job!

I'd appreciate it if you could play/rate my game as well! :)

Amazing game! Really well polished. I had a blast playing it ;)

If you can, check my game also ;)

Best of luck!

Others have said it, but the design is beautiful. Great use of the theme both aesthetically and gameplay-wise!

My favorite game so far! All 5 starts from me!

I usually download games and play without reading any instructions on the page to see if i can figure out myself what to do. In this case i thought the game crashed at first! Then I learnt this gray screen is a part of a gameplay and dived into the game. I felt a bit like trying to find a way to the toilet in the middle of the night.

Really fun concept!  The footstep sounds are definitely what make the game work. Great job!

Loved the colour palette, footstep noises and general concept of playing a game whilst looking at a blank screen felt weird, but strangely enjoyable!

Ya concept might be better than my ability to make games. I actually would close my eyes when playtesting it. Thanks for playing.

Really enjoyed this concept. Took a few minutes to figure out what you're supposed to do, but thought it was very cool how you had to navigate in the dark using the footsteps as a cue where to walk. More visual cues and a tutorial would be cool if it was expanded on, but still very awesome :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback.  Ya both are needed. Leaned a lot about how annoying a game can be if it doesn't let you know what you are supposed to do. So double thanks for sticking with it.

Really cool and I especially like the polished visuals but could you explain the connection to the theme?

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing, the less is removing all visual information to make more of the audio feedback . So just the gameplay mechanic applies really. I don't know why the little fire guy needs to get the torch either.
