How did you interpret the theme?
I thought the project was suppose to be one ability and to me that felt like it should be one mechanic. The game would revolve around this one mechanic that allowed the player to master it. To me teleportation was a good idea and what I wanted to help the player master was being able to rapidly click with a level of precision.

How was your experience in this jam?
It was very good. I thought I learned a lot of and retained a lot from my previous projects. This was a good way to get back into making projects before my first actual Game Development class.

Clever idea. I included it in my Bored Pixels Jam 7 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Developer

I left a comment on your video :D Thank you again for putting it into a video!

after you die you still could teleport lol

actually you should've ask for help when you can't finish the game, you could just go to the discord, im pretty sure some people would help you to finish it, and btw lvl 3 is really frustating xd

Developer

I know I could of gone on the discord to ask for help however, this is just me trying to get back into making games before the semester starts (it has started and its going to be a long semester so pray for me). I knew you could technically still teleport even after death cause I had it only have the object not active instead of destroying it so that why that happens. Also level three was suppose to be annoying XD. I wanted level one to be "oh tutorial ish", Level 2: "oh this is okay I guess", Level 3 "ah it was going to be one of those games huh..." so having level 3 frustrating is a good sign. Not a great one but it helps me gauge it out . Thanks for the feed back and for trying out my game :D

its actually gonna be better if it was like grapping hook instead of teleportation, its just feels like button mashing game instead of precision. anyway gl on your school/college.

Developer

Thanks! I did give it a though for grappling hook I will mark it down as an option.

When the player dies, you should have it restart the level or start from the beginning rather than closing the entire game, because that got pretty annoying.

No I understand that. I was going to do that but something came up and I had to quickly hand in the game. It was my intention to try to have the level reload. The quit was for quick play testing. I appreciate the feed back!
