The game relates to the theme in two ways. You have a berzerk meter which increases your damage the lower your health gets, and the story is about replacing your brother who took your throne.

Very fun game, I kept trying multiple times after dying. loved the art! the intro went with the game so well. Props Very well done
Great game! The Visuals, Music & SFX mesh together so well. This game is very punishing and has a one more try feel to it. The Boss Designs & attack patterns are well done. Reminds me of Ghost n' Goblins how your character changes as you take damage.
This is absolutely amazing for genre and style! This is what I grew up on is late 80s/early 90s. Really great classic retro feel. I find it funny that people consider our game hard. These are the type of games I grew up on, so I find our game quite easier than people have given credit for in our comments. You just have to move fast and shoot and dodge stuff...isn't that what people want in these types of games?? IDK lol. Great Job I gave 5/5. Though I died a bunch, but it makes me WANT to go back and beat it
Thank you! Yeah the game isn't really too hard compared to some of the more difficult platformers, but it's pretty hard to judge the difficulty after you have played the same game so many times.
This is an incredible game as expected from you :) Great job, just it would be greater if some of the bosses attack are well telegraphed but otherwise, this is incredible :)
Awesome work! Great simple but effective art, solid music, great challenge that will wreck your hands if you play for too long, but overall very solid experience with good variety in the bosses. Very fun game!
