How does your game fit the theme?
Viginti is a door-opening roguelite that makes players wonder "What's behind the door?" with both dread and anticipation.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No.
Most assets were downloaded from freesounds/the unity asset store, then modified to fit the vision for the game.

Very nice game! Even though there are multiple games that did this kind of game for the theme, this is the best one ive played so far. The rng didnt feel unfair since you can buy items that help you, like the horn, etc. It was very fun, looks good and feels nice to play. I especially like the los/win screen where you can just get straight back to another run. Well done!

Really fun game, lost my first run on like the 8 door room and won the next run with like 8 sheilds stacked. Visuals, sfx and music all on point. Good Job!

Very cool idea, music and art, i did not know typescript had a 2d game engine interesting

This is my second time using the engine. It has its limitations but it's a great way to make small games that plays to my strengths.

Thanks for playing!

A really cool idea, like the element of risk management and the items keep it interesting!

fun game, i assume the doors are randomized, and the game loop feels snappy and responsive yet simple.  Very nice game, a solid 7/10

Developer

The doors are semi-random. Each level has a list of set doors and a pool of random doors. Doors from the random pool are added to the required set when the level is created. The doors are then shuffled to prevent the level from being memorised. This lets me keep the balance of each level where I want while adding a bit of uniqueness to each level.

Thanks for playing!

Really great game loop. At first i thought it's unfair due to rng but played again and actually enjoyed it. Graphics are simplistic yet everything fits together, audio fits perfectly, whole game is amazing. It would be awesome if you somehow improve this game in the future

Developer

Thanks for checking out my game!
