How does your game fit the theme?
Our game, Crossroad Chaos, fits the theme "Calm Before the Storm" by representing the contrast between the peaceful start of a day and the hectic rush hour traffic that follows. At the beginning, traffic is light and easy to manage, but as the day progresses, the pressure builds and the storm of vehicles and pedestrians intensifies. You, as the traffic officer, must maintain order amidst the growing chaos. The calm of the morning is soon replaced by the storm of rush hour, where every decision counts!

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
The entire development programming and design of Crossroad Chaos was done by our team (Alan & Geros) during the game jam. We created some of our own UI assets (title, arrows, keyboard buttons) but also utilized Syntys Polygon City for the art assets to quickly bring our vision of a bustling city to life. All sound effects were sourced from royalty-free assets on freesound.com, and the music tracks are royalty-free assets from the following sources:

Music 1: Children's Comedy by Pixabay
Music 2: Comedy Music by Chosic

This is a great game! There were some bugs and it was hard to not get run over but it was fun.

Ok, that's creative! Gameplay is fun and use of art assets is clever. Also, Synty's Polygon City is really good fit for your game. I burst out laughing when I got hit by car! 😂 Only thing I would nitpick are controls. It's great you can select control scheme, but it needs some more adjusting. For example, when camera is fixed in one spot, player character should move based on camera perception, not on rotation of a character. But still a great game and a really funny idea!

Very nice idea! I think there was a bug during my match. There were two cars that didn't move even though I set the green light

Yes there are bugs when replaying. We didn't manage to patch it in time but we ll  patch it right after
