How does your game fit the theme?
A storm is approaching and does hit while you are looking for your son.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code and assets were made from scratch or taken from my prerecorded sound library like the rain sound.

Game Design:

the only two mechanics in the game were walking and the drag and drop part which you can hardly call a mechanic.

Fun:

No. Don't get me wrong I love story games, but this one was like reading a new report.

Innovation:

Still no.

Theme:

I mean you got the storm part right but where was the calm?

Graphics:

The animations kinda looked funny. Other textures got repetetive fast.

Audio:

This was my biggest issue with your game. the music was somewhat decent (although it got repetetive) but the footstep sounds? They were just awful.

Conclusion:

This was just a walking simulator with horrible footstep sounds to just remove the slightest amount of fun that one may find in walking.

I may have been a little harsh but it's the truth.

hey no worries. Great feedback. I could have added some more stuff to do in between but most story games are walking sims too.

I agree. Let take disco elysium for example. one of the best walking simulators I have ever played. The characters even somewhat comment on it having too much walking at the end, BUT walking in that game is fun. the visuals are compeling, the music just hits the right spot and the random bits of information scattered around make it so you won't feel the passage of time.

Nice game. I played till the end. In my opinion it'd be cool to have some twist or drama in the end, but it's interesting the way it is.

Good job!

I tried to keep the story simple and straight to the point. The only twist I put was that Spoiler Ahead Caleb just went after the dog.
