This is quite unsettling, I love the atmosphere and how it slowly turns sinister! I did experience some mouse issues where it would randomly flip my camera backwards, but it might be a problem on my end. Congrats on submitting!
Game is so cool! Lovely artstyle and pretty colors . : )
The gameplay is fun and quite frightening, and the monster designs are so cool too! I enjoy quite a handsome bit :D

i love typing and i love games that give me underlying stress and paranoia/adrenaline. this does just that and so much more, genuinely an amazingly intriguing game! can't wait to try it out again !!
Unequivocally one of my favorite jam entries I've played in a long time! The aesthetic is stellar, the twist is such a clever direction to take the "typing practice" genre, and the latter sections had me feeling actual fear! Plus, a whole coherent story, start to finish, in a game jam entry - seriously awesome stuff y'all, absolutely loved this one!
Initially, I clicked on this because our game started out with a similar idea of having typing minigames while dodging roombas that would occasionally swarm you, but we ended up going in a completely different direction with only elements of that idea sticking around. Cool to see it implemented to completion here, and in a way that really works! Fun entry for sure, hope more people find this one!
Thanks for the feedback, it means a lot. I'm glad the game resonated with you in that way. I was actually a bit worried the game would be too easy and therefore boring, a genuine fear I had was that people wouldn't even see the monsters and just type everything perfectly fast all the way through.
Very fun game! The change in tone is done really well, and the gameplay has me constantly on edge, which is awesome. I SUCK at typing, but this was still very fun for me to play, and didn't feel unfair or too easy. Well done!

INCREDIBLE WORK!!! I really love the concept and execution, and you totally caught me off guard with the twist, I just wish the font was a bit easier to read as "a" looks like "o" and "{" looks like "(" but besides that, i was super invested up until the part where you cannot progress!
I did manage to find a few bugs like one being sprint and walking are swapped and since the player moves incredibly fast by default, u can get out of bounds easily, or miss the fall completely and land somewhere random in the basement.

Thanks for the feedback! We spent all morning working on fixing a ton of things, so if you did want to see the rest of the game you SHOULD be able to now. We fixed a bunch of things related to cutscenes not playing, doors not openening/closing, and more notably sound effects that weren't playing/were half implemented.
If we ever do a post-jam content update we will probably change the font. :)
It definitely took a few tries but I beat it! again, absolutely stunning wor, and I will for sure follow any new development from you guys on this game! I'd love to see Terry come back maybe as like a corrupted file and try to "resurrect" his friends but they end up poorly implemented o something like that, there's so much potential
