A really well designed game! Everything in the game fits well! kinda wished that the movement was not so stiff, But not a deal breaker, it gave the game a certain charm! Love how there are multiple approaches to a single room! always great for games like these! You can Expand upon these mechanics and make a really good game! All the best!

Developer

Thank you, glad you liked it! :) Yeah, I'll definitely keep working on the movement...especially when swinging around with the grappling hook.

IKR! the swinging can be improved, will definitely follow the development!

I had fun in this, the mechanic is really cool to break walls and recover them. First time around I had to restart because I blew up the ground :V Don't worry I am just a dummy.  I was trying to heist and I stumbled upon a cop and was like yeah okay now I gotta run but then *ALARM SOUND*!! That gave me a heart attack holy, the game is so silent and then big boy alarms start blaring, I liked it; don't get me wrong. You just gave me a darn spooker. Good game 7.5/10 - IGN

Developer

Thank you very much, I'm glad you liked it!

How and where did you blow up the ground, before you had to restart? Usually, you should be able to get out of any hole with your grapnel (at least, as long as something is still above you, but the holes shouldn't get that big ^^). If you still know where it happened, I will take a closer look at it.

Yeah, the alarms are intended to wake up all the guards...that seems to be working :)

Like where you spawn immediately i just blew myself downwards and couldn't get back up in the tutorial - so it was really just restarting it which was fine since i had no progress

Developer

Aah, I see - thanks! :)

I can't start the game :(

I am stucked in tutorial!

Hello,

I've just tried it myself, and everything seems to work as it should. Where exactly are you stuck?

The tutorial can be completed as follows:

1. Click above the thief with your left mouse button - thus, the hole gun will generate a hole above you, and the grapnel will fall down.

2. Press the E key on your keyboard - you should equip the grapnel, and use your right mouse button to shoot a grapnel to the ceiling above you.

3. Use WASD to move around freely and land on the top level.

4. If you click your middle mouse button, the hole should vanish again, and you should be able to land savely.

5. Open the door by pressing the E key.

6. Walk on the hightlighted area (to the museum sign) in order to start the countdown. After a few seconds, the game itself should start.

It would be great if you could tell me where exactly you got stuck, so I can amend the tutorial after the voting of the game jam has finished.

Thanks!

Got it thanks.

I just didn't know you can press E for the grapnel!

Thanks for the feedback - I'll make it clearer in a future version!
