In what way does your game fit the theme?
The game just rewinds the same levels. You can get a hint how to escape in the short description.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes I used the code of my previous project and made the assets from scratch in Piskel.

Fun game! Very nice work on the graphics and sound. Like some previous comments indicated, some improvements could be made to the jumping physics as it seems a bit floaty. Tough level design and challenging game! Check my submission out when you have a chance. Thanks.
The idea is a good one. I liked the mechanics of the challenges, The jump can be adjusted or you can create an item to collect, which has a double jump for example. It's just an idea that came to me and I wanted to share it with you. The game has great potential. Nice job !
Thanks.
First off I get this was a game jam so take all my feedback with a grain of salt. The first thing I noticed was that the main character felt a bit floaty to me, and would probably feel a little better to play if they had a little more gravity to them. The other thing is that obviously it would be nice if there was a background and other environmental elements to tell a bit more of a story. I actually really dig the main character and it would be nice if there was more context on where we are.
So about the solution (or what I think the solution is) there could definitely be a bit more of an impact to figuring it out. What I think is the solution (quitting and playing again) leads to a blank screen so I am still not sure if this is the solution or a bug. If I am right, there should be some indicator that I did indeed figure out the way out (even just some text would be nice). If I am wrong, I honestly don't know what the solution could be. Another thing is that it would be nice if you lead the player to the solution a little more. Right now I felt like I was clicking random buttons until I found something that worked. Even just some cryptic riddles throughout the game would make me feel a sense of accomplishment when I eventually figure out what it is. I do like the idea that the only way to escape the game is to quit, but I just want a little more to feel satisfied with this answer.
Anyway like I said take this with a grain of salt. It is a huge accomplishment to complete a game in just a week and you should be proud of the work you have done. If you do decide to update this game later, I would be interested to see where it could go.
Thanks for the feedback. I will try all of these in other games of mine.
The music was only playing out of my left ear for some reason and the level-design felt a bit by-passed due to the jumping of the character so could improve there.
Otherwise, the game worked but the UI, movement, animations etc could all really polish up the game.
Thanks for the feedback. I will try all of these in other games of mine.
