Ranked from 54 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
Midnight special not only literally has a rewind interaction within the game, you will find that the entire premise of the story revolves around a spirits own past and a groundhog day style time loop. Spoilers, but that's probably important!

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, the majority of it save for the sounds.
All images were photomanipulations I did with Adobe Stock licensed images and Pexels stock images, as well.
No code was taken from the asset store, although I did look at dialogue system tutorials along with unity documentation.
Finally, sound assets are not mine, all sounds are from the Unity Asset Store.

game was fun could have been more controllable

Well, that was creepy... The atmosphere in the game is amazing. A bit dissapointing that the player isn't really controlling anything, would be great if the player had more control over things. Also, a little nitpick, I've alway tried to press other buttons on the remote, but it didn't work.

Overall, I liked the game, well done!

Really cool game, the atmosphere was super creepy, loved it. A lil touch that isnt neccessary at all  is that I really wanted to press the other buttons of the remote.  :)
